St. Michael and All Angels Parish has served Berwyn and the surrounding communities for more than one hundred and ten years.  The Parish has always given special attention to children development programs because the future of the family, community, and nation depends upon the quality of the education given to the individuals since infancy.

The Parish decided to create an infant, toddler, and preschool child care center, named The Angels’ Child Development Center. Its purpose is to provide parents with professional assistance in the care of their children in a nurturing environment that fosters educational growth and healthy development.
The Angels’ Child Development is a bilingual licensed center by the DCFS. It has been providing quality and affordable care to families living in Berwyn and the surrounding communities since 2002. The Center is open from Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Angels’ Child Development Center provides:

  • Dual-Language Program, with a variety of educational activities in which infants, toddlers and pre-school children are actively involved, in order to develop a positive self-image and cognitive, communication, daily living and motor skills, as well as the values of personal responsibility, cooperation, mutual care and self-determination to do what is right.

  • A program, both indoors and outdoors, that fosters optimal growth and development through opportunities for exploration and learning, while protecting and enhancing the health and safety of the children and adults who care for them.Programs where parents are kept well informed about daily events at all times and are encouraged to be both observers and participants in their child’s development.

  • A staff that is caring, recognizes and meets the needs of the children, and promotes physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.
